Today we practiced making stop motion clips in the studio. We created 3 clips altogether, using different backgrounds and objects to create a stop motion. We used a Cannon 3D, Bowen lighting for the set and objects to make the background.
our first clip was a boy swimming in the sea, for this we used a blue sheet for the sea and two people held it at either end and moved it in small pieces to make it look like the sea was moving. Then george moved his arms to make it look like he was swimming in the sea, he moved along is well to make it look more realistic. above is a image to give you an idea of our clip.
For the second clip, we used a skateboard and made it look like dylan was riding it, we kept moving the skateboard in different positions and he kept moving his body to make it look more like he was riding it in real life. This could be improved by having more things in the background which also moved, we made it look like he was doing tricks by moving the skateboard around in the air and flipping sidewards. Above is a image of dylan slowly riding his skateboard.
For the third clip, we just did a simple example, like a girl walking with a suit case. we changed the background to make a path, sky and clouds. we used white material for the clouds and made them move to make them look realistic like they were moving, we used blue material for the sky and grey for the path. this could be improved yet again just by using more crops throughout and more things in the background. Above is a image of sammy walking with the suitcase, this is one of the clips we used to put together to make it realistic.
Hi
ReplyDeleteIt was the studio you went in to do your animations, can you add some of the images onto your blog to help explain what you did, etc..
Then make these into a video in iMovie to music for all 3.
Then work on your own versions this week, etc...
Can you also find images of the kit that was used and load these onto a blog about kit.
Next you need to be shooting your own version and deciding how best to approach this..
